As the world turns but not in favor for some. The show “Extreme Make Over: Home Edition” has just declared another new home owner to foreclosure. As always in show business all we see is the glitz but the behing the scence is where the rubber mets the road.

A few of the new homeowners from the show have been having difficulties with their new found abodes. Difficulties financial has been elevated for these new homeowners with larger utility bills, higher property taxes did catch up with these new homowners.

Onward O-o-o-o-o Opray Winfrey #own

The new motto of “Live your Best Life,” is speaking for Oprah.  I’ve been expecting this for sometime now quite frankly. That Oprah Winfrey is leaving the talk show venue. She plans on exciting Sept 2011 media reports say. She has accomplished so much with her show that she probably is ready for a new challenge to dig her teeth into.

I say go for it.  Great move, quit  smart while you are ahead. I know that Oprah is not finished  she has more to give of  herself than we know.  I did notice that there was a sense of not being complete over the past few years with her and the show. Revamping, tweaking and brainstorming new ideas  etc . I can understand that this is what is expected of anything in life but there was a bit of a void there.  Perhaps she read, “The Dip” by Seth Godin knowing when to quit.

In a sense of being able to grow and expand in different ways and move on to something far more fulfilling and challenging for her. Besides a 50/50 split aint’ nothing to sneeze at with Discovery Communications you know the  Discovery Channel.  I am sure their ratings, stock and twitter followers for both Discovery communication venues will increase, LOL!

I have admired her tenacity  and trailblazing in this arena,  she has carved a target market all her own. Believe me her followers will go right with her.

What a great and challenging match.  I love the Discovery Channel and I am sure that what she plans to do with her new cable channel company O.W.N (Oprah Winfrey Network) will be informative and entertainment television.  It seems that she will be slotted into the already running Discovery Health Channel this should prove to be interesting with a national obesity and health care reform issue on the slot. I just wonder if  President Obama, a-a-  no no way oh just wishful thinking, huh!

Sexual Fascinations

Why are we obsessed with sex? It’s about the pleasure we feel when the act is or has been performed. Not only before and during but after. It amazes me everyday just how much and many things we see, hear and do are related to or can be paralleled to sex, a  sexual term, act or thought.

As I was surfing the net I came across two words that were talked about on the George Lopez, Lopez tonight show.  I found that both words were being highly searched out on the net.

Necrophilia….

All I could think of at the time was Necromongers they are a race of biological  humans that  are a militaristic theocracy led by a military religious ruler known as the Si.pan.

They practice a religion known as Necroism. The primary belief of this religion is that the line dividing life from death is a deception imposed upon the human race by alien races masquerading as gods with the intent of enslaving all humans. This revelation was brought about by the discovery of ancient stone tablets that outline in precise detail that man was created to do the works of those that created them.

The ultimate destination for the Necromongers is a place called the Underverse, which is described as another universe in which life is cherished and even the dead are brought back to life. The Underverse is both the afterlife of the Necromongers and the future of the people arrived at through a two-step process:

1. The elimination of the curse of human decay and aging.
2. The reanimation of the dead.

Entrance to the Underverse is restricted to those who follow the Necromonger religion; those that refuse to bow to other races or otherwise worship anything, human, alien, alive, or dead. For the Necromongers, any form of worship is an abomination.

However even though this was not the true definition of necrophilia there is a parallel thread death.

He also speaks of a happy ending. Now I am old and must be very naive cause all I have ever known about a happy ending was in the fairytale stories or Chinese food. Oh sorry that’s happy family, oops!

Well George took the show to the streets and asked passers-by very interesting thought provoking questions and happy ending was on of them.

Necrophilia was #2 @ 8AM EST and Happy Ending #38. We do know that these statistics do change minute to minute but I anticipate that all day today these will show up high on the searches.

Yesterday was the premier show for Lopez tonight with George Lopez and I do like George however I felt a bit slighted. Maybe he is saving the his special talents for subsequent shows but your first show has to be an attention getter and to grab your audience. I was a bit surprised that he didn’t come out stronger with his stand up act. I kept feeling that it was soon to come but it never did.

The guest were great and kept my attention and maybe that is the main focus. I will watch a few more times to see if this is the case. I am sure that the big wigs are watching the reviews and will tweak what they need to.

When someone in the audience asked Kobe Bryant why he doesn’t tweet on Twitter.

He said he doesn’t know what Twitter is while he was sporting his new Black Mamba Watch.  George could of chimed in and impromptu announcement contest to find someone to work with Kobe on Twitter. That is what people tune into for the unexpected.

One thing is for sure he does have an audience so much that if he tells people to do something they will. As proof of necrophilia and happy ending being #2 and #38 on Google search.

Yesterday, November 4th, 2009, aired a show that showcased the food fetish of Sploshing or WAM (Wet and Messy).

Did your parents ever tell you don’t play with your food?

Well this brings new meaning to that as the participants enjoy sexual and sensual arousal via the application of food i.e.  (whip cream, chocolate syrup, juice, strawberries, or water based food products) whatever makes you feel good on your body with or without clothes.

We all know that food can be very powerful when it comes to evoking pleasure especially chocolate.  It targets the pleasure zones in the brain and we want more. It amazes me with world hunger and poverty growing everyday this is what some choose to do with food.

Dr. Conrad Murray

and the beat goes on………

Some parts of this I really don’t like my main thought was is this a father in mourning? I do realize that different people mourn differently but my gut says that you don’t talk about what you are promoting when you are talking about the passing of your family member especially your child.

One thing is for sure this is not the end with second autopsies and the grandmother trying to get custody of the children and the estate, I hope this doesn’t get messy.

My biggest concern is for the children. Michael will be remembered but it is the children that are his legacy and the nuturing and proper care/treament of them is utmost essential.

Farewell to an icon

Ed McMahon has died last night at the age of 86.  Better know as Johnny Carson sidekick on the Tonight Show .  I remember a few shows as a kid but have been more acquainted with him as an a adult when he had his show Star Search and TV Blobbers, they still make me laugh and are quite entertaining.

Google is at it again to Crack that Whip! You know the Devo song? Well this is Vevo, a YouTube and Universal Music venture.

This new Google venture is a premium music and video site called Vevo.  This advertiser sponsored site will be set to launch in a few months. Google states that the videos will be of a more professional quality less grainy than the ones that are on YouTube presently.

So far artists such as U2, 50 Cent and Kanye West will have their videos sponsored on the site.

I knew they weren’t finished with YouTube when they bought it, lol!
