Music before his time!

Quinn Sullivan plays music before his time. This kid has a gift from God. Quinn who is 10 years old, plays the guitar with a B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Eric Clapton style.

When I read this article I said okay what kid is the media trying to exploiting now?! After listening and watching the video I was dumbfounded. Wow this kid is prodigy. How remarkable and profoundly cool! It’s really nice to see something positive about kids in the news media for a change.

The New Year’s Resolutions of the Stars

Have you made your New Years resolution yet? Do you even believe in New Years resolutions?

Well, just to share with you some celebs do. Just what do these star icons consider a resolution?

I thought some of these were quite interesting and yes some odd but it’s all about one’s perception I suppose. It would have been nice to see one of these celebs include in their resolution something about world peace or helping people in need.

Could that just a bit too much to chew on, ya think?

Can you Change! ?!

I was checking out my Facebook account and came across the video section and just had to post this video by Kate Edmondson.

How appropriate for the times these days!
ENJOY!

Laughing at failures!

Can you laugh a failures? Well this fellow blogger has made their whole blog about failures and they are a riot. This is one of my favorite blogs. Somethings can be a bit racy, I just ignore those and get to the ones that make me laugh and I can identify with.

The blogger has posters submitting fail posts to the blog to share with the internet world. Check it out and if you see a failure that will catch bloggers eyes then by all means post it to the Fail Blog.

When I am low and need a pick me up, laugh, or chuckle I head over to

Fail Blog

for the right jolt of hilarity! Well done dude and thanks for the pickups! 🙂

Two more star icons moving on!

It seems that I have been blogging for a few days about celebrities health issues. Well today we are faced with yet two more deaths in the celebrity icon world.

Oscar-winning soul singer Isaac Hayes who, along with Al Green, James Brown and Stevie Wonder, was one of the dominant black artists in the early 1970s, died in Memphis on Sunday. He was 65. We all know him for the movie “Shaft” he was the singer that made the theme song for the movie. I remember watching it and thought it was really some great P.I. stuff.  Eventhough Samuel Jackson played a more up todate and modern figure Shaft, in the more recent version, my mind still went back the orginal version.

Then there is Bernie Mac who was in the hospital being treated for phenoumia died this past Saturday. Bernie Mac blended style, authority and a touch of self-aware bluster to make audiences laugh as well as connect with him. For Mac, who died Saturday at age 50, it was a winning mix, delivering him from a poor childhood to stardom as a standup comedian, in films including the casino heist caper “Ocean’s Eleven” and his acclaimed sitcom “The Bernie Mac Show.”

Both men will be missed as they had much to contribute to our entertainment of music and comedy.

R.I.P. Gentlemen!

Get Well Morgan Freeman!

One of my favorite actors was in a horrible accident in Mississippi where his car flipped over several times, left the road and ended up in a ditch today. He has been life flighted to the near hospital facility in critical condition.

He had to be cut from the vehicle and of course was showing off his sense of humor with his rescuers.

I pray that all will be well with this Oscar award winning actor and offer him and his family a speedy recovery. You have still much to do Morgan so get well!
