I just wanted to post this, interesting.

I just wanted to post this interesting tidbit. I have been using HootSuite as my twitter client for awhile and I have left it gone to various other twitter client  and found that I had to down load other applications to make it work.

Some were okay but for my PC those apps required Adobe Air and it was a memory hog for my PC.  Now I am not saying that it won’t work for you but for me at this time those apps were just too heavy loaded.

So I needed something a little lighter for the time moment and HootSuite is filling the bill.

Hootsuite has none of that as a matter of fact this new feature has been added my ability to post to my blog from the HootSuite client with out logging into my blog directly,among a few others. It also has an Iphone application for using your Iphone to tweet with on Twitter.

You have to go to the site just click the logo here and view the video tour.

No for some that may be problematic but for me it is just great. I feel comfortable doing this as Hootsuite manages my twitter accounts and Facebook Page. Now I will be experimenting with this because I need to know does it allow for videos and images to be posted? It is still in Beta so I am sure they will be tweaking some items based on what we Beta Testers let the know for now.

I am gong to King Fu Fight my way around HootSuite for awhile, lol!

A Holy Terror?!

As I was looking over the internet news I just so happen to come across this story that left me just amazed and yet proud of these passengers that are fighting for their and others rights to live.

A Nigerian man who said he was an agent for al-Qaida tried to blow up Northwest Airlines Flight 253,  on Friday 12-25-09,  as it was preparing to land in Detroit.

The travelers on the flight heard what sounded like firecrackers, saw and smelled smoke attacked and subdued the man.  A passenger sitting opposite the man climbed over people, went across the aisle and tried to restrain the man.

This is something else isn’t it? In my mind I was just picturing all this commotion going on and some travelers being Johnny on the spot acting quickly to get this man apprehended.  Could you imagine the roars and cheers of excitement as they pinned him down. What a rush!

Talk about citizens arrest! I am glad to see no one was hurt in this yet another failed attempt to protect our airways. The mad bomber did have burns on his legs where the bomb was attached and didn’t denoate correctly.

Of course investigations are being performed and there is little that they are saying but I am sure as the days go on we will find out more.

Authorities in London and the United States are investigating  if this has any ties to the United Kingdom  incident.  Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab who has been identified in that incident  per one law enforcement official,  said Mutallab  claimed to have been instructed by al-Qaida to detonate the plane over U.S. soil, but other law enforcement officials cautioned that such claims could not be verified immediately, and said the man may have been acting independently. Mutallab my have been inspired but not specifically trained or ordered by terror groups.

Does this have anything to do with the similar bomb attack by Richard Reed, a British citizen, 8 years ago when he tried to bomb an airplane over US soil he had ties to al-Qaida.

I don’t know about that however here is my concern.

One…this Nigerian man had been on the terrorist watch list but there was not sufficient enough reason to place him on the no fly list.  OMG! This is ridiculous! When a person is a negative list of such don’t you think they should be revoked and stripped of all things! Maybe it’s just me but with the issues we have had repeately over the years with plane bombing why are we letting know al-Qaida or supposedly al-Qaida affilates fly on planes? This just infuriates me to no end and burns (excuse the pun) my butt to a crisp.

Hooray for the passenger that subdued the man who obviously has a decreased mental capacity for life even his own.

A Threat of DEATH for Michelle Obama!

Kristy Lee Roshia, 35, was charged this past Saturday with threatening to kill/blow up Michelle Obama. She was apprehended on Tuesday and is being held without bail.

Now get this the woman has a record of such threats since 2004! Just what gives here?! This type of stuff just infuriates me to no end. How is it that someone of this obviously grossly scared mental capacity be allowed to walk the streets with such a record of various threats  to the  Secret Service, police, and the Marines.

To make matters worse the Honolulu public defenders office received a message of the same caliber.  Now we don’t know when the threat came but there was no response of any kind on behalf of the public defenders office for the welfare of its citizens or our CIC.  So now we know, that if they aren’t doing anything about defending the public then heck do you think they are going to defend the President and his family while they are spending holiday time in Honolulu?

Uhh,  just burns my butt to a crisp.

Needless to say I am sure that security will be heightened as it should be for the Obama’s.  Protect and serve, people!

This lady obviously has mental issues and needs help majorly. However shame  shame on authorities for letting such a blatant known situation go unchecked since 2004! Haven’t we had enough of that already, 911 comes to my mind.

Don’t just stand there help Santa!

As I was checking out the news on the net I came across this heart wrenching story from the Wall Street Journal. It caught my attention because anything related to a child’s welfare I take notice.

Children are taking on the behavior of being frugal these days due to the economy. They aren’t asking Santa for the usually frivolities they are asking for the bare essentials, homes, food, clothes.

My sorrow surmounted when I continuously read this article. Then looking at the interactive Santa map with the stories Santa’s across the states are reporting just made me say get the word out via your blog maybe someone will see it and pay attention in the Santa line this year to these children over hear and perhaps help. You never know.

I was pleased that some Santa’s are taking it upon themselves to really take on the Santa roll and help these children and their parents. The stories are just too much and too many for anyone one to bare let alone a child.

Maybe writing to this real Santa can help I thought this site was just wonderful you just never know.

However they seem to be handling it a lot better and more sensibly than I thought. Now you will get your typical requests for PS3’s, video games and Zhu Zhu pets etc. For the most part children are listening to their parents and hearing that the economy is hurting is all.

Unemployment is slowing decreasing however as President Obama stated in his Christmas special last night jobs are still not opening up and people need help with the bare essentials, utility bills, mortgages, food. He is continuously working to reduce the rate. Meanwhile we are told to hang on as best as we can because it took us a long time to get here and the remedy will be the same if not longer.

Still my heart goes out and hopefully this holiday will still bring good tidings to those that need the help even is someone just gives a little of themselves it could help possibly multitudes. A story comes to mind loaves of bread, fish and Jesus Christ! Hmmm!

Don’t blow my house down!

As the world turns but not in favor for some. The show “Extreme Make Over: Home Edition” has just declared another new home owner to foreclosure. As always in show business all we see is the glitz but the behing the scence is where the rubber mets the road.

A few of the new homeowners from the show have been having difficulties with their new found abodes. Difficulties financial has been elevated for these new homeowners with larger utility bills, higher property taxes did catch up with these new homowners.

Ain’t this a kick in the head

Well finally I am glad to see that Tiger has come out to face the music.  All sorts of crap was being splattered around  about him with this car accident.

Poor man couldn’t even rest and heal without all the brew-ha-ha going on.

I know there will be skeptics still but I am glad he came out and said something of the turn of events.

Now let the man heal in peace so he can finish his golf game, plzzzzz!

Well wishes  for Tiger.

As I was on the internet looking at the news. This came to my attention on yahoo’s main page:

I thought,”OMG, what has happened?”   I immediately read the article to find that he is okay a few lacerations and he lost consciousness about twice but the number 1 golfer is recovering well.

What is amazing is the pouring of fans to his website that have left their support and well wishes for Tiger to get better. Most are stating that he owes no explanation for why he was out at 2:25 AM in his SUV and hit a fire hydrant and neighbor tree.

Since the release of the news there has been a lot of talk on the web about many different reason for this and what really happened.

He was close enough to home that his wife heard the noise and came to rescue him by taking a golf club and smashing out the back window of his SUV to retrieve him. WOW! Kind of reminds me of the mother who rescues her child from a car accident that adrenaline really does pump in.

As I read some other articles I just began to shake my head. All the fuss was about why this happened. Yes that is understandable but the fact that the man was injured and hurt seemed to be down played. The reason behind the hurting was more new worthy than the life of a human being I began to feel as I was reading other articles.

Now look we all have our private businesses and so should he. This is for sure that an investigation is going to come of this and a possible charge being placed upon Tiger.  However, we many never know the real issue here but to me most importantly is that a human being was able to walk away from an accident that could of cost him his life.

Just something to think about.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my readers current and future to come.  It has been enjoyable writing on this blog about whatever I come across in life that is interesting. On a side note it helps clear out the fluff in my mind.
